Jeff Dalrymple

Director of Abuse Prevention & Response

Jeff Dalrymple is currently the Director Abuse Prevention & Response at the SBC Executive Committee. Jeff formerly served as executive director of the Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention, a national association of Christian ministries committed to child and youth protection. In his role with the SBC Executive Committee, Jeff serves as a catalyst to educate and equip Southern Baptists with abuse prevention and response. His leadership experience includes roles in public safety, higher education, non-governmental organizations, and parachurch ministry. Jeff served as a vice president at Southern Seminary in Louisville from 2008-2016. In addition to implementing child protection programs at several ministries, his experience includes organizational leadership, team building, communications, development/fundraising, hospitality, conference & event planning, international relations, strategic planning, revitalization, and board governance. Jeff is based in Jacksonville, Florida and is married to his wife Kristil and together they have four children.

Hannah Bolick

Abuse Prevention & Response Coordinator

Hannah Bolick currently serves as the Abuse Prevention & Response Coordinator for the SBC Executive Committee. She previously served as Communication Coordinator at the Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention (ECAP) and is on the Child Safety Team at Eastwood Community Church. She is a World Journalism Institute graduate and has a B.A. in English, a B.A. in Communication, and an MA in Strategic Communication from East Carolina University. Hannah is also the communications coordinator at Clarity Camp, a discipleship-focused youth summer camp devoted to impacting the next generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She also worked for several years after graduation as a receptionist and Headmaster’s assistant at a classical Christian school. Her present work in abuse prevention and response is informed by her experience in child and youth ministry in church, school, and camp contexts. She currently resides in Wilmington, NC.

Matt Espenshade

Matt Espenshade is the Executive Pastor at The Journey Church in Lebanon, Tennessee. Before entering full-time ministry, he enjoyed a 24-year career as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). During his career in the FBI, Mr. Espenshade served in various domestic and international leadership positions, including leading the FBI’s Nashville office, where he directed operations throughout middle Tennessee, Legal Attaché in Budapest, Hungary, and Deputy Legal Attaché in Nairobi, Kenya. Mr. Espenshade served as a Military Intelligence officer in the U.S. Army. He has a B.S. from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University in Northfield, VT. He is married to Lisa Espenshade, they have four children. Mr. Espenshade is also an adjunct professor of criminal justice at Cumberland University and sits on the board of directors for Blue Sky Global Ministries, Imago Classical Academy, and the Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention.

Jennifer Estrada

Jennifer Estrada serves as the Associate Director of Children’s Ministry at Christ Journey Church in Miami, Florida, where she also leads as the Child Safety Policies Coordinator on the church’s Child Safety Team. With a professional background in Exceptional Student Education and over a decade of experience in Family Ministry, she brings both expertise and heart to her work in creating safe, Christ-centered environments for children. Her passion lies in child development and in laying a strong foundation of faith that allows children to experience the love of Jesus without obstruction. She believes that the first impression a child receives of God’s love can shape their entire life—and is committed to ensuring that nothing compromises that sacred opportunity.

Amy Little

Amy Little serves as Senior Associate Counsel for Lifeway Christian Resources, where she works with the Camps teams and leads strategic initiatives in developing and implementing procedures for the safety and protection of campers. A graduate of Belmont University College of Law and daughter of a Southern Baptist pastor, she brings both legal expertise and a deep personal commitment to church ministry and the discipleship of students. As a former camper herself, she is passionate about stewarding safe and secure environments where children and teens can grow in their faith through trustworthy experiences. Outside of her professional endeavors, Amy has a passion for foster care and volunteering in her community to help the most vulnerable.

John Murphy

John Murphy serves as Executive Program Director at Risk Program Administrators (RPA), where he leads the development of customized risk management solutions for faith-based organizations across the country. With over a decade of experience helping churches and ministries navigate complex areas of risk, John is deeply committed to equipping leaders with the tools, training, and insurance strategies necessary to protect their people and steward their mission well. John’s calling to ministry and service is rooted in his upbringing—as both a pastor’s kid and a missionary kid—and further shaped by his years serving as a youth pastor. These experiences give him a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing ministry leaders today. John brings a specialized focus to areas such as abuse prevention, governance, financial controls, and property and casualty program design. His work with RPA includes advising denominational partners, overseeing the launch of new captive insurance solutions, and supporting ministries in their pursuit of safe and sustainable growth.

Somer Nowak

Somer Nowak currently serves as the Director of Abuse Prevention and Response Administration at the International Mission Board (IMB) in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, she leads strategic efforts to develop and implement policies and procedures that safeguard children and adults as well as ensure care for survivors across the organization. Before assuming her current position, Somer along with her husband and two children served as overseas missionaries with the IMB. Somer brings a strong background in child abuse prevention and response, having worked for several years as a forensic interviewer and forensic counselor with the Children’s Advocacy Center. During that time, she also conducted educational outreach and training sessions for schools, businesses, and community organizations on abuse prevention and awareness. Somer also spent time as a school counselor which gave her front line experience working to protect and serve children.
