Kris Buckman serves as the Youth & Kids Ministry Consultant for the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware, where she equips churches to strengthen discipleship and implement effective abuse prevention and response systems. For the past five years, she has worked closely with churches and associations to develop policies, train leaders, and guide implementation of safety measures, playing a key role in helping churches comply with updated denominational bylaws related to abuse prevention.
Kris has served on the BCM/D Sexual Abuse Task Force and now continues that work as part of the CARE Team, supporting churches in creating safer ministry environments. She also contributed nationally through her work with the Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force (ARITF), where she helped write and design the ‘Essentials: Abuse Prevention and Response’ curriculum for church leaders.
A certified sexual abuse awareness and prevention trainer through Plan to Protect, Kris has trained numerous churches and ministry leaders in recognizing, preventing, and responding to abuse. She is currently a PhD candidate in Family and Generational Studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where her research focuses on abuse prevention in the church.

Dr. Lynne Little

Dr. Lynne Little is the founder of Compass Education LLC and is nationally recognized in Christian education leadership, curriculum design, and professional training for faith-based institutions. She is a co-author of Safeguards for Schools, a biblically-based abuse awareness and prevention instructional resource for elementary students. She serves on the board of the Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention (ECAP) and the Northeast TN chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). With more than 25 years of experience, she partners with schools and ministries across the U.S. and internationally to cultivate biblically grounded, academically excellent, and ethically sound learning environments. Serving as chair for numerous Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) accreditation teams, she values the accountability and continuous improvement accreditation brings to an organization.
Dr. Little has presented for national organizations, including The Gospel Coalition and the Southern Baptist Convention, equipping educators and ministry leaders to strengthen systems of discipleship, instruction, and child protection.
Lynne and Ronnie, her husband of 30 years, reside in northeast Tennessee. Lynne is passionate about the discipleship of the next generation and is an advocate for the protection of children through intentional instruction, safeguards, and wise discernment.

Emily Smith serves as the Abuse Prevention + Response Consultant for the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. She is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served on convention staff with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, and church staffs in Arkansas and Texas. Emily’s career is marked by over 18 years of experience serving churches regarding safeguarding minors and next-generation ministries.

Brad is the lead pastor at Petal First Baptist Church in Mississippi where he served for the past 14 years. He‘s been married to his wife Rebecca for 24 years and they have 3 children, William, Matthew and Emma. He has been in ministry for over 36 years serving churches in Texas, Alabama, Louisiana & Mississippi. He has been deeply involved in the work of abuse prevention & response for over a decade. He served as the head of the Mississippi Sex Abuse Response Team as well as a member of the (ARITF) Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force for the Southern Baptist Convention. He is deeply passionate about helping those who have suffered from abuse, especially inside the church. He is also equally passionate about helping the church understand the clear gospel call for prevention and response to make our churches the safest place on planet earth. He is a survivor of childhood clergy sex abuse & he loves telling his story – a story of God’s miraculous hope, healing, and redemption that only God could bring about!

John Murphy

John Murphy is a seasoned leader in faith-based and service-focused nonprofit risk management, with more than 15 years of experience helping churches, denominations, and mission-driven organizations safeguard their people, property, and mission. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President of KingsCover Insurance Services.
In the past, John served as Executive Program Director at Risk Program Administrators, where he launched and managed multi-million-dollar property and casualty programs for both faith-based organizations and service-focused nonprofits. Earlier in his career, he led the growth of the property and casualty and life & health insurance programs at GuideStone Financial Resources, serving thousands of churches and ministries across the country.
Growing up as the son of an International Mission Board missionary who planted churches on the island of Curaçao and later pastored in Alabama, John has seen firsthand the unique challenges and opportunities of ministry leadership. He is passionate about equipping leaders to steward resources wisely, protect their people, and prepare for the unexpected- so they can remain focused on their mission and the Great Commission.
John holds an MBA from Dallas Baptist University and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Auburn University, and is licensed in property, casualty, life, and health insurance in over 40 states. He and his wife Brittany are active members of Providence Church in Frisco, Texas, and live there with their French Bulldog, Charli.

Dr. Sara Robinson

Dr. Sara Robinson serves as a ministry consultant with the Kentucky Baptist Convention. Her primary areas of ministry include ministry to women and pastors’ wives, sexual abuse prevention, and ministry transitions. Sara holds a Master of Religious Education from Liberty University and a Th.M. and Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She also serves as an adjunct instructor at NOBTS, University of the Cumberlands, and Clear Creek Baptist Bible College. In her spare time, Sara enjoys playing tennis and drinking good coffee. Sara and her husband, Phil, have been married since December 2001, and they have one son, Zach. They live in Louisville, Kentucky, and are members of Little Flock Baptist Church.

Jeff Dalrymple is currently the Director of Abuse Prevention & Response at the SBC Executive Committee. Jeff formerly served as executive director of the Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention, a national association of Christian ministries committed to child and youth protection. In his role with the SBC Executive Committee, Jeff serves as a catalyst to educate and equip Southern Baptists with abuse prevention and response. His leadership experience includes roles in public safety, higher education, non-governmental organizations, and parachurch ministry. Jeff served as a vice president at Southern Seminary in Louisville from 2008-2016. In addition to implementing child protection programs at several ministries, his experience includes organizational leadership, team building, communications, development/fundraising, hospitality, conference & event planning, international relations, strategic planning, revitalization, and board governance. Jeff is based in Jacksonville, Florida and is married to his wife Kristil and together they have four children.

R. Davis Younts is a devoted Christian attorney, husband, homeschool dad, and retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who serves Southern Baptist churches and ministries with biblical wisdom, pastoral insight, and proven expertise. As legal counsel for the Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania and South Jersey and a former Pastor Elder, he helps churches protect their congregations, develop sound policies, and advance gospel-centered ministry with confidence and integrity.
A seasoned trial attorney who has both prosecuted and defended complex cases involving sexual assault, child abuse, and murder, Davis brings a uniquely balanced, focused, and compassionate approach to crisis management, abuse prevention, and policy development. He served with distinction as Chief of the Military Justice Division at the Air Force JAG School, where he created the Department of Defense’s flagship training program for attorneys representing victims of sexual assault. This experience honed his ability to design and deliver high-impact training curricula and biblically-aligned policies that equip church leaders to respond wisely, graciously, and effectively in difficult situations.
Widely recognized as an expert in sexual abuse investigations, church liability, and religious freedom, Davis is a sought-after speaker whose clear, engaging, and gospel-centered presentations have strengthened countless churches and Christian organizations. Amber Privett is a faithful follower of Christ and a licensed clinical social worker. In her work, she helps abuse survivors navigate their stories and find healing. She owns Amber Privett Counseling and serves clients all over the states of Florida and Utah. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in numerous child abuse prevention initiatives, anti-trafficking efforts, and family preservation work. She is a BCM graduate and serves on the advisory council for Safe Families for Children’s Tampa efforts and currently calls Tampa, Florida home.
While Amber desires to create a safer world for the most vulnerable among us, she most ardently desires that the church be a space where abuse survivors can experience the comfort, love, and peace of God. This has led her to her work as both a consultant and a trainer for local churches. Several churches utilize her services when they a knowledgeable professional experienced in abuse, mental health, and trauma-related topics.

Chris Atkins is the founder of the242momentum, a faith-based readiness and risk advisory firm serving churches, ministries, and mission organizations. With more than two decades of experience spanning military service, high risk operations, and organizational leadership, Chris was eventually called into ministry, and now focuses on helping ministries build sustainable structures that protect people, support ministry continuity, and strengthen accountability before crisis arrives.
Chris previously served in senior operational and leadership roles within the U.S. government and later led safety and risk management efforts for a large multi-campus church organization operating across multiple states. His work has included emergency planning, child protection practices, law enforcement coordination, incident response, volunteer development, and organizational readiness in both domestic and international contexts.
Through the242momentum, Chris works with churches, church networks, and mission leaders to address the growing challenges facing ministry environments without losing the pastoral and discipleship-centered posture that defines the Church. His approach is built around the Shepherd, Sustain, and Send framework, a discipleship-first model that emphasizes leadership responsibility, preparedness, continuity, and sustainable systems.
Chris is also developing long-term research and readiness initiatives focused on ministry continuity, safeguarding, and emerging operational risks impacting churches and mission organizations globally.

Keith Myer serves as the Matthew 5:9 Outreach Manager, bringing more than twenty years of pastoral experience within the Southern Baptist Convention. He was the Pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in Salisbury, Maryland, and currently serves as Associate Pastor at Berlin First Baptist Church in Berlin, Maryland.
Keith formerly served as a trustee of Gateway Seminary in California and as Associational Missionary for the Eastern Baptist Association. He currently serves as Chair of the BCM/D Abuse Prevention Task Force. The Task Force’s work has helped shape the SBC’s national response, including the Essentials framework – Train, Screen, Protect, Report, and Care – and the Pathways implementation curriculum. BCM/D’s Task Force led change that saw 500 churches in the convent adopt protection policies without division or controversy.
Keith holds a Master of Divinity from Columbia International University and an MBA in Leadership from Liberty University. He enjoys reading and spending time with his wife, Nancy, their sons, and their two dogs. He remains convinced that Coke is better than Pepsi, Dunkin beats Starbucks, and The Empire Strikes Back is the greatest Star Wars – and science fiction – film ever made.

Jennifer Estrada serves as the Associate Director of Children’s Ministry at Christ Journey Church in Miami, Florida, where she also leads as the Child Safety Policies Coordinator on the church’s Child Safety Team. With a professional background in Exceptional Student Education and over a decade of experience in Family Ministry, she brings both expertise and heart to her work in creating safe, Christ-centered environments for children. Her passion lies in child development and in laying a strong foundation of faith that allows children to experience the love of Jesus without obstruction. Drawing from more than twenty years of experience in ministry, counseling, and organizational leadership, he serves as a pastor, counselor, coach, and relational network systems practitioner.
As Lead Pastor of Parkwood Baptist Church, Manny leads church revitalization efforts and develops leaders for lasting kingdom impact. He is also the co-founder of Elpis International, a humanitarian organization serving vulnerable communities in Ethiopia. Through his work with the Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention (ECAP) and as Director of Pastoral Wellness at TruLifeCare, he equips ministry leaders to navigate crisis, cultivate resilience, and flourish in their calling.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced training in traumatology and family therapy, Manny holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Social Work. His passion is helping people and organizations move from merely functioning to truly flourishing through healthier relationships, intentional leadership, and meaningful connections.
When he is not serving leaders and communities, Manny enjoys traveling with his wife, Christina, dancing with his daughter, Kallista, and playing catch with his son, Phoenix.
