5 Goals.
1 Mission.
Nehemiah set goals to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. He assigned tasks, dividing the work to tackle an enormous challenge. In this spirit of cooperation, and in light of our Great Commission calling, we challenge you, association and convention leaders to accomplish the following five goals. We aim to multiply our impact to make our churches safe places for kids and the vulnerable to hear the gospel and grow in Christ.
1
Make this training available to every church in your network.
2
Communicate the problem of abuse including indicators of abuse and common grooming behaviors.
3
Identify mandatory reporting laws and other state or jurisdictional laws related to abuse prevention and response.
4
Provide an overview of essential safeguards for protecting children and vulnerable adults.
5
Feature the Abuse Prevention & Response Resource Guide and localized resources to support churches.
